We’re not there yet on key steps for reopening your schools but coaches need to know these critical steps to start their season
Routine cleaning and disinfecting are an important part of reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19.
We now know about social distancing, wearing masks and washing our hands. But what if you can’t always follow guidelines? Say you don’t have access to soap and water, and you can’t wash your hands or it’s not possible to social distance, while playing a team sport? What can you do? We recommend three steps which soon will be required. Seriously, you will need to do this, if you want to start and complete your season.
Three critical steps for protecting your team and season:
Step #1: Each team must constantly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, including the ball with at least 70% alcohol-based solutions. Are you using the best-selling sports antibacterial product in the USA and will your inventory last the season? MATGUARD has the most effective skin disease and MRSA prevention products on the market. What does MATGUARD kill
Step #2: Whether your team and staff are indoors or out, athletes and coaches must have access to 70% alcohol-based hand & body sprays sanitizers and disposable disinfectant wipes so that equipment, helmet, pads and frequently touched surfaces can be wiped down immediately. See our MATGUARD sprays and wipes for skin and equipment
Step #3: After each practice or game, trained and masked cleaning staff must clean and disinfect community spaces with a highly concentrated formula. Be sure they wear disposable gloves & gowns for all tasks in the cleaning process, including handling trash. We recommend MATPRO. See our MATPRO cleaning solutions
Please don’t wait for your school to reopen or your season to start, antibacterial and disinfectant products are getting harder and harder to find. Order now and start educating your staff and team about the new protocols. Education is the best way to prevent outbreaks and more. See how we can help. Learn More
